INTIMATIONS
Thanks are expressed to all who supported the Hobkirk and Southdean Guild
Coffee Morning on 19 February, the Ruberslaw Guild Coffee Morning on
20 February, and the Weens House Coffee Morning on 25 February.
A Coffee Morning will be
held in Denholm Church Hall on Saturday 6 March to support the Chile Visit
being undertaken by Rob Hemming through the Borders Exploration Group. Coffee
and biscuits are £1 and there will be a Cake Stall.
Services on Sunday 7 March will take place at Hobkirk at 9.30am
and Denholm at 11am and will be conducted by the Minister.
On Sunday 7 March the Roxburgh
Singers present ‘St. Nicolasses’ at Jedburgh Old and Trinity Church at
7.30pm. Tickets, £7, from ‘Me To You’, High Street, Jedburgh. All welcome.

The Spring Edition of our Parish
Magazine is currently being prepared and the deadline to give content to
the Editor, Alan Dowler-Smith (alan@oldfodderlie.co.uk)
is Friday 5 March.
From 12 to 16 March we are welcoming to the parishes Pfaffer Johannes and Mrs. Anja Zechmeister
of the Evangelische Kiirchengemeinden Oberschonau & Unterschonau and
Johannes will be sharing in our services on 14 March. During a visit to this
part of Germany, which was formerly in East Germany, Mrs Margaret Derham met the Zechmeister’s, and the Minister has
kept in touch with them since last summer. Anyone who would particularly like
to meet them personally during their stay should have a word with Mrs. Derham
or the Minister.
Information is available
about the 2010 Church
of Scotland Youth Assembly, with the theme ‘To Boldly
Go’, and young people aged 16 to 25 are welcome to apply. Full details from the
Minister.
