INTIMATIONS

Warm thanks are expressed to all who organised and supported the very successful Festival of Flowers and Childhood organised by the Hobkirk and Southdean Guild in Southdean Church last weekend.

During the period Thursday 8 July to Friday 23 July all urgent pastoral requests should be referred to the Rev. Lisa-Jane Rankine, Minister of Hawick: Wilton linked with Teviothead – telephone number 01450 370744.

Services on Sunday 11 July will take place at Denholm at 9.30am and at Hobkirk at 11am and will be conducted by the Rev. Marion Dodd.

Services on Sunday 18 July will take place at Minto at 9.30am and at Hobkirk at 11am and will be conducted by the Rev. Prof. Graeme Auld.

Services on Sunday 25 July will take place in Bedrule at 9.30am and Hobkirk at 11am and will be conducted by the Minister.

The next Ruberslaw Church Lunch will be on Friday 23 July from Noon to 1.15pm at Denholm Church Hall.

The Blood Transfusion Mobile Unit will be at Hawick High School today (10.15/12.30 and 2/4) and on Monday 5 July (2/4 and 5.15/7.15). New volunteers – in good health between their 17th and 66th birthday - are welcome.

Bonchester Bike Rides in aid of Bonchester Village Hall will take place on Saturday 14 August, and entry forms are available by phoning 07717 672718

The Presbytery of Jedburgh is organising an Elders Training Conference on Saturday 16 October in Hawick, and leaflets are available for Elders at the Church Door.
